Vacuum filters are for universal use. The fluid will be sucked by a pump through the filter belt out of cellulose or synthetics. This is the reason of the higher filtration performance of the vacuum filters in comparison to gravity belt filters.

Bigger filters are constructed as rectangular tank with a sieve bottom for the filter belt. Smaller filters can be built with flatbed or round bed.
